helpthisf2
I have received a job offer from a college. Its a programmer position at their computer department. Its not a public university, its a private college, but its a long standing college founded almost 70 years ago. Does the university have to be a public/non-profit one? Link to comment
Attorney_10
Generally, in order to a university to qualify as a cap exempt petitioner, it must be defined as an institutition of higher education under section 101(a) of the Higher Education Act of 1965, 20 U.S.C. 1001(a). Please schedule a consultation with a qualified immigration attorney to determine whether the petitioner will qualify as cap exempt and the evidence that must be submitted as proof of this cap exempt status.
