I have done my masters in India and I am working with us based company which has branch in Canada too. Wanted to check whether people only with Masters in usa can go to Canada or anyone who is currently working in USA and wants to get get stamped in Canada before I travel to India in june 2013 are eligible to go. shandan Posted October 10, 2012 Report Share Posted October 10, 2012 There is no such requirements you can apply for US VISA in Canada if you are there in Canada. But I would not suggest traveling from India to Canada to get your US VISA stamped. Link to comment

Consulate website says, only candidates with US degree or for visa extension can go to Canada for stamping. Better give them a call and make sure. Link to comment

nvijragh2 Posted October 10, 2012 Report Share Posted October 10, 2012 Also Make Sure, you have the Canadian Visa, I have got confirmation from their consulate that, you have to apply in the Mail and it will take about 30 days to process. Check and plan much in advance. Link to comment
