drgrass
My initial (1st) H1b started on Oct 2007 (EB3). I140 is already approved from current full time employer so when they file for H1B extension, It was approved till 2015. If I happen to change company (probably consulting company), do I get my H1 approved for only 1 year (based on my initial H1B) or will I get it till 2015 (based on my extension). Another question is, will there be any risk of changing company when I have less than 1 year of H1B based on my 1st H1. BTW I belong to rest of the world category. Thank you all in advance. nvijragh2
Dr Grass, Your Case is straight forward. You will get it for 3 Years from the filing date. Better find a company that can sponsor you in EB2 as it is going to be current next month. All the very best!! Link to comment
