vikkyjethani Posted October 9, 2012 Report Share Posted October 9, 2012 My H1B got approved on October 5th. It was a COS from L1 to H1 with start date as Oct 1st. I had filed for my wife's I539 (COS) on Oct 2nd and mailed the documents to USCIS which reached them on same day of my visa approval(OCT 5th). Is my wife's immigration status right now legal. I hope she is not violating the status or anything. Her application is still under initial review. Let me know your thoughts. Link to comment
