H1B PP RFE Response Time Period?

Hello,

Applied for H1B extension (re-capture the vacation and out of US period) in PP;

Status turned to ‘Acceptance’ on Sep 17^th

RFE received on Sep 25^th.

Question: What is the usual time period USCIS will give to employer for responding to the RFE?

I am part of a major Indian IT confirm, as per the company policy they don’t show me the RFE letter and they will respond as appropriate if its Job related RFE. Worried as I am not sure what is asked for the RFE and how these folks respond to it. I am on the same account/location/project for the past 5 years now, what is on RFE is worries me.

@aj07001: On RFE letter, USCIS mentions particular date that RFE response should receive on or before that date. That can 2 months or few weeks which is depended on case to case. But date will be clearly mentioned on RFE letter i.e., your employer will know that date though they may not inform you about it.
