Green Card Through Another Employer

Hello Experts,

I am new to this forum, I am working for Company A with H1-B, my 6'th year completes on May 2014. I am trying to apply GC through company B. Is that any timeframe to join company B. When should I join company B Or can I stay with Company A till get my GC?

Please help me. Thanks in advance.

You can join the company B anytime once you transfer your H1 during the process of GC.But once you have your GC you should start working for company B.
