humor.me
I have noticed that a couple of companies that posted job ads had this requirement that H1B visa holders were welcome to apply but they needed them to have at least 3 years left on their H1B visa. Is this normal? HM Link to comment
JoeF
Companies can put whatever requirement they need in their job ads. They probably don't want to train somebody who then has to stop working soon. It can take a long time to get familiar with an existing code-base, for example. Link to comment
shandan
Define normal. Basically, what they are saying in other words is that they can transfer your existing H1, if you have atleast 3 yrs remaining out of the 6. But they do not want to sponsor a fresh H1 for you. Link to comment
