rohang
What is a start date? I think it is 1st Oct itself. If it was filed under COS then you cannot work on L1 after that date. Link to comment
JoeF
Do you have the actual approval notice? If it has an I-94 at the bottom, you are now on H1, and you have to stop working for the L1 employer. Link to comment
kiran234
Communicate with your H1B employer about your start date. Once your COS to H1B is approved, you are no longer on L1. If you/employer already received the H1B COS approval documemts, you cant work on L1. But from my understanding in your case you or your employer did not received the approval documents, so working these few days on L1 should not be an issue. For clear and solid details about this complicated/tricky GAP between COS please check with your H1B employer and a qualified immigration attorney. Link to comment
