I am having some health conditions which prevents me from going for job for the time being. If I get my H1 approved, is it compulsory to take the job the consultant is offering? Or can I stay in my H4 visa without working? Please help me with this question. Link to comment
JoeF Posted October 2, 2012 Report Share Posted October 2, 2012 If the H1 petition has been filed with change of status (which most are), you will be in H1 status from the approval on. And you have to start working for the employer, or file a COS back to H4. Link to comment
