H1b Transfer Question

I was employed by Employer A, I left the job and started looking for another job, I got job with Employer B, who is ready to do my H1B transfer, but I have around 1 month gap and does not have pay stub for that period, I want to know what are options for me, can I provide evidence that I was on unpaid leave or anything like that or Do I have to return home country and apply my h1b again?

Its urgent please replay ASAP.

You were out of status during that time.

Don't try to lie with "unpaid leave." That will only make it worse and can result in a permanent ban.

You should have changed to another status, e.g., B2.

It is likely that USCIS will not approve a COS, so you probably have to leave the country, and enter with the H1 from the new employer.
