fusion1981 Posted October 2, 2012 Report Share Posted October 2, 2012 Dear Members , I am working for Company A on L1b visa which will expire on May 2013 . I applied for H1b thru Company B which got approved in july 2012 and Validity starts from October 15 . I put up my resignation with Company A and they have decided my last working day as October 5 . My Question is - I assume that as soon as I am terminated from Company A , my L1b will be revoked with immediate effect and my I94 will also become Invalid . Will I go out of status immediately . Does USCIS provide some time to get back on Status . Will it be legal to stay in US from a period of 10 days between October 5 and October 15 ? Is it going to affect my employment on H1B in future in any ways or affect my GC processing ? Thanks Fusion1981 Link to comment
