Can one work for L1 employer when H1b is approved on USCIS website and petition papers not received yet...?

Hi,

My husband has got his H1b approval just today on the USCIS website.

He is on L1B visa currently.

He/his attorney has not received the H1b Approval petition papers from USCIS yet.

Can he work for L1 employer till 10/5 serving his notice period..?

This is Urgent...Please let me know....

As he did not receive his COS to H1B yet, he continue working on L1B. It should not be an issue. Communicate with H1B employer
