h1b Amendment option

Hi,

I applied for H1,when i was in india and later travelled US on H4.

I got my h1 approved last week. Do I need to go back to India for stamping or i can submit an amendment for H4 to H1 cos?

If amendment is fine then

Is there any problem dat amendment would create?

just want to know the docs and fee particulars of amendment procedure?
