H1B from F1

Hi

I was on F1 after completing my MS and halfway through PhD when I decided to go to work. My H1B was approved from Vermont Service Center in July. My university has now terminated my F1 on SEVIS today and given me 2 week grace period. I have my H1B I94 and it comes into effect in three days. Can I still start working on H1B?
