H4 stamping in Hyderabad

Hi All,

I am currently on a H1B which is expiring by the end of this year. I am planning to convert to a H4 because of health reasons. I will be travelling to India shortly and plan to get the visa stamped at Hyd consulate. What are your experiences at Hyd consulate? Is it better than chennai?

Also, I am on an unpaid sick leave for 3 months now. What are the chances that they will ask for my paystubs? If they ask, what should i tell them since I won't be having any recent paystubs.

Is there a provision to collect the passport on the same day after stamping?
