H1B Stamping with GC Pending (Nov 2012)

Hello Everyone,

I am planning to visit india, November 2012.

My Current situation

• 5th Year H1B
  
• Full-Time Employee with Fortune 500.
  
• H1B Expiring in August 2013
  
• GC Filed by Employer EB-3, I-140 Approved.
  
• GC Also filed by Family Member (Sister).
  

Since i have heard that lots of people are getting 221(g), I want to understand how safe it is to go India for Stamping?

My Questions

• Am i correct that lots of people are getting 221(g) in recent time frame
  
• Is it safe to travel india and go for stamping with someone with my situation?
  
• On What Criteria they are issuing 221(g)? Is it random without reason?

After working in US for 5yrs on H1B I think you should have more than enough knowledge about H1B visa.Since your are a direct employee, you are good to go for stamping.
