H1B start date on Oct 1..Herguan university closed

Todaay ******* university is closed as a result SEVIS records of all students are terminated.

officials gave a option of transfer to new schools to reinstate the sevis with in 7 days or to leave the country. right now all OPT students are asked to stop working immediately. in my case my H1 is allready approved with a start date of October 1st. now, do i need to apply for another university or can i stop working for 10 days and start on 1st of oct with my new H1. Will i be out of status? will it be a problem please sujjest me.!

Your COS to H1 may no longer be valid.

You probable have to leave the country and get an H1 visa from a US Consulate abroad.
