BenjaminTK Posted September 18, 2012 Report Share Posted September 18, 2012 Assuming you already got your H1 approved, it's fine to resign on 28th and be out of status for two days, that's not a big deal, as USCIS forgives a status violation upto 180 days. Will my old firm can make any trouble to me If i resign on 28th??? This is totally up to your current employer, a beauty can turn into a beast in a fraction of sec:-) Why don't you give two weeks notice period since you know that your approval is done ?
