ahmedianjum Posted September 13, 2012 Report Share Posted September 13, 2012 My school district applied for h1 visa for first time under cap exempt as it is a non profit organisation affiliated with university from 2007,as per the interim guidance by USCIS on june 16,2011 defference will be given to organisations previously determined as cap exempt,my visa was denied can we reapply if yes how to explain the situation.please guide Link to comment
JoeF Posted September 13, 2012 Report Share Posted September 13, 2012 A school or school district is not cap-exempt. Only universities, non-profit research institutions affiliated with universities and government research institutions are cap-exempt. Link to comment
