Clarification on employment based EB1 - Thank you

If within the last 3 years, I have spent two 6 month periods as manager outside of the US, will that qualify for EB1? Please assume other conditions (e.g. I am currently a manager in the US, my company is US based and my managerial work abroad was for the same company..) are met.

Content: To quality for EB1 as Multinational manager or executive, the USCIS website lists the following description, but I am not sure if the 1 year period needs to be continuous or not.

You must have been employed outside the United States in the 3 years preceding the petition for at least 1 year by a firm or corporation and you must be seeking to enter the United States to continue service to that firm or organization. Your employment must have been outside the United States in a managerial or executive capacity and with the same employer, an affiliate, or a subsidiary of the employer
