mdb_maddineni Posted September 11, 2012 Report Share Posted September 11, 2012 Hi, My L1B visa is valid till April 2013 and I have applied for H1B in 2012 quota through a different employer and it got approved on July 18 of 2012. On 20th of July 2012, I went to India and returned to US in August 2012. My H1 starts from October mid. Here I have three questions: 1) Do I need to go for the visa interview before joining the new employer? 2) Now I have a new I94 as I returned to US and my H1 is tagged with the old I94. Will that become a problem? If so how can i change it? 3) If I decide to stay back on my L1, can I work till March on L1? Link to comment
