Spouse working on OPT(F1) wanted to use EAD

Hello,

My wife is currently working using her OPT(F1) and it is going to expire in a month.We both have EAD cards in hand.

I guess she can use her EAD card and continue her work, but is there anything we need to do other submitting EAD card to her employer like updating USCIS or some thing?

Also will she using her EAD card change anything for me like AOS application process?
