L1B Blanket Visa renewal.Can I do it from Canada.The visa was issued from India

Hello Sir/Madam,

I have a question on my L1B Blanket visa.My visa was issued from Mumbai in Nov 2011 and is getting expired in Nov 2012.The petetion is valid indefenitely.My I94 is valid until June 2015.However,eventhough I can stay in US until 2015,my company wants to renew my visa.The reason is overseas travel.My question is can I renew my L1B Blanket visa from Canada or should I go to India itself for the renewal.?If I would be able to renew visa from Canada,the plan would be to go to Canada in mid October 2012.Just in case,if my visa does not get approved,will I be able to re-enter US.?My current visa is valid till Nov 15th 2012.
