Wife on EAD ( was on H1 earlier)- use old SSN or need SSN?

Hi

we are on on EAD and my wife wants to work. she had an H1 and even got the SSN ( 2 Yrs back), but never worked on H1 and later we canceled her H1.

Question is, does she needs need to have a NEW SSN now as she is on EAD, or can she use the same old SSN?
