manssy
Should I detach the I-94 that came with the approval I-797A and keep it with me, and not give it to the VO at the consulate? Just give them the I-797A without the I-94? Link to comment
sratlanta
I am not an attorney but i believe, you can tear the portion of I94 that belongs to you and keep it with your passport.... Link to comment
DontWorryBeHappy
When exiting the country you are supposed to return all I-94s to Airline officials. I am not too sure, but if you are going to Canada by road there is a different policy I think. Search the forum, you will find tons of posts regarding the same. One more thing, never lie to Visa officer, tell them truth all the time, that will help you dearly in future. Link to comment
naveeena08
Dont worry about it. Dont tear it. You can give it as it is to VO and he will return it as it is to you. The old I-94 will be taken at airport while returning to US (if not taken while leaving US) and new I-94 will be given to you. Link to comment
