H1 to H4 to H1

Hi,

I am currently on H1-B valid until October 2014

I was laid off by my current employer last week. My employer will be holding my H1-B for 1 month more.

I am considering doing a COS to H4 but I eventually want to go back to H1. I am not sure if I can find an H1 sponsor withing 1 month.

I have the following questions:

1) If I go to H4 status and later find an employer willing to sponsor my H1 can I start working immediately after the H1 is filed? Or do I have to wait till October 2013?

2) Is it easy to go from H4 to H1 ? ( I have a master's degree and 2 years work experience in USA)

you can start right away on receipt of the 797 application.....u will get an application receipt no when ure new comp applies.

what du mean by easy? the process is the same when ure new employer files a new H1.
