Approved I-140, still waiting on 7th yr renewal

HI, My PD is March 2011, my 6th year of h1b is getting over in 1st Oct 2012. My company has applied for the renewal in first week of August 2012. So i am expecting the renewal soon.

Questions is:

1.should i go premium processing?

2. If i don't get any answer from the US immigration till end of September is it fine?

As per my lawyer i dont need to go for premium processing as i have a I140 approved so we can wait beyond Oct 1st.

Please give you suggestions..

1) only if you want to. its not needed.

2) yes, as long as your extension has been applied you are good.
