Can I switch to new employer during RFE?

Hi,

Please let me know if I can do any of the following if I cannot get the client letter this week.

1. Switch to new employer when my extension is currently in RFE status that I need to reply by October.

2. Or do I need to wait out the period and see if it gets approved/denied and then decide.

3. Or find another new project and stick with the same employer.
