Plese clarify - L1B Visa Expiring, I-94 valid till 2015

Hi Attorney,

My L1-B visa will expire in Oct-2012 but my I-94 is valid till Aug-2015. As my I-94 is valid till Aug-2015, my company is telling that they will not apply for extension.

Please clarify if I'm legally eligible to work in the US with valid I-94 and without filing extension. Do I need any work authorization document after visa expiry.

My Petition and Visa details:

L1-B visa issued in Dec-2009

L1-B Visa valid till Oct-2012

Came to US in Aug-2010

I-94 valid till Aug-2015

I-797 Company's Blanket Petition Valid Indefinitely

I-129S Valid till Oct-2012
