cps_sathis86
Hi All, I filed my h1b this May. My case is still in initial review. My Attorney quit practising law recently. My company(employer) got a mail from USCIS recently stating that USCIS will communicate directly with you unless a new Form G-28 is filed with the agency by an eligible representative. Is that mean the company should hire na new lawyer immediately and file a new G-28 or ? I have not got any RFE so far . Any suggestion on this case will be really helpfull. Thanks Link to comment
shandan
It mean't exactly what it says "USCIS will communicate directly with you unless a new Form G-28 is filed with the agency by an eligible representative", if your employer do not wishes to directly deal with USCIS, then they should employ a new practicing attorney and who should then file a new form G-28 with USCIS. If there is an RFE, then until a new G-28 is filed with USCIS, it will go to the employer directly. Link to comment
