Travel During H1B Amendment

Hi,

I have my H1B I797 valid till Sep 30, 2013 with Visa Stamped and my I94 is valid till Oct 10 2013. and I have recently moved to a new location for a new project and planning to do H1B Amendment accordingly. I have plans to travel outside USA for couple of days immediately.

1) If my H1B is in process of Amendment, will there be any problem at POE. Is there any rule of not to travel during this amendment process?

2) Do they issue new I94 along with Amendment?
