d27m11k
Here's my story Employer: X Vendor: Y Client Z I have a non-compete agreement with my company X that prohibits direct or indirect employment with client or vendor for 1 year after termination. I received an EAD (as a dependent) and vendor Y wants to employ me directly. Importantly, Vendor Y also has recently secured a separate, independent agreement with my company X stating that they are OK to hire me when I joined the Client. Is a non-compete agreement enforceable in this case? Link to comment

JoeF
Non-compete agreements are generally enforceable, except in California, where the CA Supreme Court has ruled them non-enforceable. Link to comment
