I140 Approved from Previous Company ( now acquired by Other)and 8th yr H1 Extension

I am on 7th year H1 extension now.

I got I-140 Approved on Jan-2010 from Company A with H1 Extension (3 yrs ) after 6 yrs complete. I changed the Job to B ( got only 1 yr extension , so this is 7th year extension) . B hasn't started new GC process yet. In Between Company A is acquired by C (after I left A)

8th year H1 extension is filed by B(current employer) based on Approved I-140 from A. I 140 is NOT revoked by A ( I have talked with A's HR Manager)

Is there any issue here? Can I get extension based on I-140 of A (which is now acquired by C). B's lawyer says as long as I 140 is valid ( not revoked) it should be fine.
