msm1101 Posted August 17, 2012 Report Share Posted August 17, 2012 Hello everyone, I was working for a company ABC in US on L2 EAD from nov 2011 to june 2012. My L2 Visa got expired on June 2012 and I had to leave US. My company sponsored me H1B visa and allowed me to travel back to india on Leave of absence and rejoin them from 1 oct 2012 on contingent of h1b visa approval. They did not provide me relieving letter but provideed with me a letter of appointment stating their interest to continue employing me after 1 oct 2012. I am filling my DS 160 and wondering what I should fill up for my primary occupation in work information page. Should I say 'Not employed' since I am on leave of absence currently? and mention the company ABC as previous employer from nov 2011 to june 2012 and also explain that i will rejoin them from 1 oct 2012 in the explain field.
