GC and H1B 7th year extension

Hi Friends,

Having 20 years of 12 years IT experience

H1 completed 5 years 3 months

First 2 years worked as Project Manager role for a big indian IT company

Last 7 months working as senior manager role for a big indian IT company

Till now my company not started my GC process. They promised that they will start GC.

Is company can apply GC in EB1 category or not?

What are the chances to get H1B extension?

Is there any steps i need to take consideration?

Is it better to wait till company starts or move to another employer better?
