salary question while transitioning from F1 to H1

Hello,

I am currently working fulltime on F1 opt extension. I just got my h1b approval. The thing is my current F1 salary is less than my LCA specified/ H1 minimum specified in flc data center. My employer has said that they will increase it once my h1 goes through.

So my question is will my employer have to increase it effective immediately or can the company wait till October to do it?

This is a proper company that makes its own products and not a consultancy.

You are on H1 from the H1 start date on. From that date on, the employer has to pay at least the salary listed on the LCA.
