Offer letter says 1 Oct 2012 and even I expect H1 filing might have mentioned the same date? What will be the real start date for H1B ? Do I really need to start by that date or be in US to start working for the H1 sponsored company on that date ? Joining H1 sponsored company later to the specified date would be a problem ?
