H4 visa stamping - H1 approval date

Hi Friends,

I have my H1 visa approved and it starts from OCT 2012. I am now planning to apply visa for my wife . I heard from several sources that she can go for stamping 90 days before the H1 Visa starts but she only can travel 10 days before my start date. Please suggest me if this is true and please tell from your or your friend's real time experiences if they have done like this? Thanks in advance

yes..thats true and its true for u as well...i u can only enter sept 20 or later...so can she.
