I have my H1B approved since jan 31st 2012...have never been to India before..prior to H! I was on F1.So what should I answer for this question? I am not sure what they mean by valid? s approved also considered as valid? will be answering yes or no? Please help need to take an interview date soon Thanks Link to comment
SameerH1Bworker Posted August 13, 2012 Report Share Posted August 13, 2012 Your answer will be NO. As you'd F1 Visa stamped on passport when you entered in US & now you're going for H1B stamp. H1B approval notice(I-797) is not a visa even you can see same sentence on that approval notice "THIS IS NOT A VISA & SHOULD NOT CONSIDER AS VISA". So, select NO for this question. Link to comment
