Going for stamping.....need some advice!

Hi Folks

I am in US now and planning to go to stamping in chennai this month.

After i spoke with my employer and friends i found this is the procedure

1) Get HDFC receipt

2) Fill DS-160 form

3) Schedule appointment with the US embassy(HDFC and DS-160) are mandatory to file an appointment.

4) Visit the consulate at the time of appointment with all documents.

Am i correct, please correct me or add new things
