H4 Visa interview - I 797 expires in 20 days

Hi :

I am on H1 B now. My Petition and H1 B visa both expires on nov 10 2012.

I am getting married on October 18th and I am planning to send my spouse for Visa Interview on October 22nd right after marriage. We both are planning to get back to US on 5th of november.

Looking at this timeline can the US consulate deny Visa to my spouse or will there be any problem at the port of entry for me or my spouse as we will be arriving into the country just before the Visa expiration .

My employer will file a H1B extension petition next month and I will be having the receipt with during my travel.
