canadain
My wife attended for H4 visa interview on Aug 6th at Hyderbad. After a long interview she was asked to submit documents (M.S transcripts and explanation for what she has done in last 6 years in USA while she was holding F1 visa). Here is brief description of her case: Went to US on F1 in 2006 After completion of course work in 2009 she started her OPT and worked as an unpaid intern in a consulting company. After that she applied for Trivalley. Although, she didn't get the I2o from Trivelley, her Sevis was transferred as per the records and had to apply for reinstatement in march 2011. She got her reinstatement approval by March 2012. She has been in good standing for the past 6 years. She went an H4 Visa interview but still she was asked a lot of questions about why she opted for TVU, what her intentions were and the VO gave her a 221g and asked her to submit all the details of what she did in US for the past 6 yrs in US. She was also asked to submit transcripts from both the schools. Has anyone been through a similar situation. What kind of documents did you provide? Any help would be appreciated. Link to comment
