Canadian Tourist Visa

Hi Guys,

I am trying to apply for Canadian Tourist Visa and I am currently in US, I lost my old Passport with US F1 Visa Stamped in it, even though I am currently in Status since I lost my Passport, I do not have US VISA in my New Passport.

Can I even apply for Canadian Tourist visa in my Case?

You don't need US visa if you are applying for canadian visa. If you are Non citizen on US, just show the proof of your current status.

You would need proof of current status, if you are on H1B, copy of i-797 approval notice should be enough. In your case, I don't see a problem. Make sure you apply in person for Canada TRV, mail-in visas are taking lot of time.
