sree.sree Posted August 2, 2012 Report Share Posted August 2, 2012 Hi Guys, I am trying to apply for Canadian Tourist Visa and I am currently in US, I lost my old Passport with US F1 Visa Stamped in it, even though I am currently in Status since I lost my Passport, I do not have US VISA in my New Passport. Can I even apply for Canadian Tourist visa in my Case? Thanks in Advance guys ! Link to comment

If you are Non citizen on US, just show the proof of your current status. Link to comment
ritusmart Posted August 3, 2012 Report Share Posted August 3, 2012 You would need proof of current status, if you are on H1B, copy of i-797 approval notice should be enough. In your case, I don't see a problem. Make sure you apply in person for Canada TRV, mail-in visas are taking lot of time. Link to comment
