In person Interview for Canadian Visa (TRV) in New York,NY

Hi,

I just want to check ,is New York Canadian Consulate allowing In person Interviews for Temporary Resident Visas (TRV).Any of you had been there recently,how many days it's taking to process.

Do we need to have the DS-160 Confirmation,Itiernary Confirmation & Employer Verification Letter Mandatory?

Please provide me the related information.

You dont need DS-160 formfor TRV-Itinary is optional-most of the guys will take emp letter- follow link below

I have been there last week..no need for DS-160 Confirmation,Itiernary Confirmation. Submitted Monday, gave passport back on Thursday...

Boss - What did you choose as reason for going to canda? Tourism? VISA stamping? Did you apply for tourism and didn't submit hotel and ticket bookings?

Its not a big deal- u can select tourism- its upto to u to book/submit tickets as you can do it later

or you can select Other and put H1B stamping and you may submit interview letter in US consulate in Canada(if you had booked interview date with any US Embassy)
