Kids H4 status when spouse changing H4 to F1 visa

Hi,

I am on H1b visa since Oct-2007. My wife (H4) recently got admission into US collage. She is planning to convert visa status from H4 to Student Visa F1. We have visa validity till Sep 2014. My two kids are on H4 visa. When i applied my last H1b extension, my employer filed separate application for my wife and kids. My kids got I-797 Approval notice with my wife name on it.

If my wife change status from H4 to F1, then do i need to take any action for my kids ?.

In a word -- no (action needs to be taken). Your kids H-4 visa is based on your H-1B visa, and has nothing to do with your wife's visa (H-4, F-1, etc.).
