Landlord Posted July 31, 2012 Report Share Posted July 31, 2012 Hi All, My H1-B visa expires on Sep 25, 2012 and I have an option to extend it for 3 more years. Since my current salary is lower than the prevailing wage determined by the DOL, my lawyer sent additional documents including a survey to show that my salary is comparable to the salary that is being paid in my geographical location. The lawyer sent the document on June 17, 2012 and I still have not heard back. The last time I checked with the lawyer, she told me that DOL takes about 2 months to reppond. My visa will expire in two months. Should I be worried? Thanks, Link to comment
