Change of Employers PERM pending

Hi,

I need your expert opinion on my situation. I would really appreciate some feedback.

My current 8th year H1B ends Jan 2013. I have filed my second PERM application with my current employer in May 2012. I have a job offer with a new employer. Can I switch employers now and get an extension to Jan 2014 with the new employer, based on my current pending PERM application?

I can recapture about a month on my H1B.
