passport pickup after h1b interview

I have seen couple of posts asking for how long would it take to get the passport back after successful interview in Toronto.

Few days back I had my interview. I opted brampton as pickup location. This is how it worked for me:

DAy1 - interview in the Morning

DAY2 -

No updates about waybill number on the site http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/ss_country_welcome

Also no email from loomis location

DAY3 -

Still No updates about waybill number on the site http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/ss_country_welcome

Received email from loomis with waybill no. around closing time 7pm that it is HOLD for pickup. I received this message in Spam box of my email.

DAY4-

Picked up passport from the loomis even though the status is not changed to Ready to pickup.

So there is defnitely a great delay from US consulate in updating the waybilll number. My suggestion would be keep an eye on inbox or spam.

There might be chance that your passport might be waiting at loomis location by the time Consulate updates the site.
