Advice regarding H1 extension and transfer

Hello,

I have a valid H1 Visa, the validty was between 2007 - 2010(26Sep2010). This was initiated by my initial company. I am now in another company. Now can this new company extend my Visa and then transfer it to them? Is this feasible?
