successful stamping at Chennai

This forum was very helpful for me and thought that my experience will help someone else.

I had a Visa appointment at Chennai consulate on 07/26 at 7.15 am. This is F1-H1B.

The process was seemless and I was out by 8.20 am

Questions I faced were:

Who is employer?

Can I see your Paychecks?

What is your role/responsibilities?

How long you have been working in US?

Are you married and some personal details?

And She (VO) was smiling and told me that My visa was approved and will receive it in next 3-4 days.

Congratulations for your successful VISA stamping. Even I'm planning for Chennai on Aug 20th. I'm on E-V-C model and its my first stamping from F1-H1B. Can you tell me what kind of questions they asked? Are you a FT employee or consultant etc ?

I am an FTE. Those were the only questions asked. A little more on what my company does..etc. Over all it took about 4-5 mins.

@ A_NRI: Are you FTE or Consultant with EVC or EVVC model? If you are in EVC or EVVC model, can you pls share whether you were asked about client letter or equivalent?

@luck2u. I am a FTE, so no client letter or employer letter was asked.
